The themes of scale and proportion, sense and non-sense and dreams and altered states added throughout the development and planning, allow for the artwork to be interpreted in a variety of different ways, the objects the themes can be seen as independently applied to each area.
Taking inspiration from research into tunnel books, peepshows and dioramas allowed me to improve and expand on my own work when creating the final piece. The delicate paperwork techniques in each of the investigations influenced the two-dimensional and three-dimensional models that were made as part of the final artwork. By using different qualities from the researched artists, I was able to take inspiration from the colours and sizing of objects and transfer them to my final artwork.
Materials: Picture frame, blue spray paint, cartridge paper, coloured pens and pencils, watercolour paint, hot glue, red fabric.
